Numbers Game
Typing this out on a Greyhounds bus from NYC to Boston as we speak.. Departed Sydney at 1:50pm. 13.5 hour flight to LA. Flew towards daylight and found myself running around in LAX at 11:30 in the same morning I flew out. Had less than one hour to connect to my JFK flight. Surprise!
What was meant to originally be a surprise visit to the U.S. to see my girlfriend was ruined by her two amazing friends :) so now she’s aware and I guess it’s time to also announce it on Tumblr even though I’ve had the countdown on for quite a little while now. Have just returned from Brisbane.
A few conclusions I have made: - Brisbane is just a boring city all-round whichever way you look at it. I tried to give it a shot by coming back for the second time within 2 months and a Sydney Wednesday night is livelier than a Brisbane Saturday night. - Suncorp Stadium and the footy is enough to make up for the above.
